Mobile learning developer helps students stay sharp with line of K-12 core curriculum applications for iPhone®, iPod touch®, and iPad™

Durham, N.C. -- June 24, 2010 -- Modality, Inc., the premier mobile learning architects for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, today encouraged parents to take advantage of the summer learning opportunities available to students through its line of K-12 educational applications. These apps fuse trusted content with the fun of Apple’s mobile devices, creating an enjoyable learning experience that will keep students engaged during the summer months. This line of apps encompasses popular series such as AlgebraPrep, Brain Quest Blast Off®, CliffsNotes to Go®, and SAT Vocab Challenge.

“These apps foster a self-guided learning experience, which is perfect for kids traveling on long car trips, relaxing at home on a rainy day, or waiting for the next outdoor activity at summer camp,” said Nate O’Keefe, director of publishing at Modality. “Parents can rest assured their children will retain their skills from this past school year and be ready to build on that knowledge in September.”

Modality’s line of K-12 core curriculum apps for iPhone and iPod touch include:

  • AlgebraPrep, created in partnership with Pearson Education, includes nine apps comprised of practice tests and video tutorials by award-winning instructor and bestselling author, Elayn Martin-Gay.
