One of the most difficult aspects of studying medical pharmacology is learning drug names and their corresponding properties. Each card in Brenner: Pharmacology Flash Cards includes the drug name, pronunciation, trade name, therapeutic class, pharmacologic class, mechanism of action, clinical use, special considerations, adverse effects, interactions, and similar drugs.

In the Drug Index mode, users can quickly find all the information on the drug they need. In the customizable Flash Card mode, users can choose all aspects of each disease or choose which specific aspects they’d like to study. The Flash Card mode also features a shuffle option for quick review.

This app is perfect for medical students and any undergraduate/graduate students studying pharmacology or toxicology.

Reviews & Accolades

  • This application is great for mobile studiers. I have the physical Brenner flash cards, and although physical flash cards seem a bit more complete, it's great to have these on the go for board study. The "Flash Card" mode is a nice Q&A format and allows you to look up more information about that drug immediately.

  • Solid review cards. I prefer them to the hard copy ones because I'm more likely to have my phone on me than a stack of cards.

  • Modality, Inc.'s big break came calling via mobile phone.
